ESPN Poker...Worth it?

Postby thomasps3 » Tue Aug 23, 2005 3:25 pm

Hey guys, just wonderign what you think about the ESPN Poker Club they're running. Seems to be fairly interesting, as you can compete for a seat in a tourney with all expenses paid...but might be a little too time consuming to qualify...any opinions? Thanks!

A lot of people in my dorm last year played it, I downloaded it and played it for a while. Its pretty rookieish, I think its only freerolls, I didn't do much investigating at the place.

So here's the basic premise....you can go to espn.com and download an application that allows you to earn points towards qualifying for a tournament. Basically, you play through toruneys until you amass 60 "qualifying points", then that enables you to pla yin the "Sunday Big Play" where you are competing for a spot in the final tournament to decide the winner. Here's a link:

Let me know what you think!
