What pitcher is the current active leader in hit batsmen?

I may be wrong here, but isn't it the Big Unit? Ouch - I wouldn't like to be hit by one of his fastballs... :-o

I'm going with a guess and saying Roger Clemens. He also leads the league in broken bats thrown at players.

as for the answer, i wouldve said either Unit or Clemens, but because they're taken ill go with...hm....kevin appier? no idea...

I just looked this up on CNN/SI and the active leader with 124 is Roger Clemens, then Kevin Brown with 117, and R Johnson with 107. Assuming Brown does not have 7 more than Clemens this year I think we can give this question to pilambp.

CNN/SI only goes up to the end of the 2000 season.

In 2001 RJ hit 18, 2002 he hit 13 plus 6 this year gives him a total of 144. Clemens has 140 and Brown at 128.
