Probably just a matter of lefty/righty platoon as both games were against Pitt's LHPs -- they did that w/ Utley and Polanco earlier too. I see that he did get into the game after Redman left today.

he didn't play again yesterday. i don't know much about him, i picked him up cause i knew he could hit well and i needed to fill a hole at 1B. is he not an everyday player? cause if not, i'm gonna drop him. thanks for the help

Ummm... Yesterday, the Phillies faced yet another LHP (Lowry). I'm pretty sure that's why. He should play today against Tomko. In the future, just expect Howard to sit against most LHPs until you see (or hear) otherwise.
