Yeah, Sheets has been dominant. You really have to take the Colorado start with a grain of salt for two reasons:
1. Sheets has always struggled in Coors. He hates the place. It kills his "out pitch", that being his curve. I think he threw all fastballs for 3 innings before starting to mix in a couple curves, which weren't particularly good.
2. Even after giving up a bunch of runs, Yost kept him to take more of a beating to help spare the bullpen as much as possible. I don't agree with the move, as Sheets has thrown a lot of innings lately, but it is what it is.
