Munson certainly has more talent, but he struggled mightily at AA last year, especially where his average is concerned. His star may yet rise, but it's by no means a given. Rivera has looked solid so far; I expect him to hit for decent (though not great) average with solid power numbers. Playing time is still a concern; he'll have to prove himself some more before getting the chance to be an everyday starter, but so far, so good. Add in the fact that Rivera plays catcher and Munson's catching days are likely behind him for good, and I'd go with Rivera, unless the extra $5 will be a problem for you. Better to take the bird in the hand...
