Now when Timlin lets his inherited runners cross the plate it'll be costing the team games. !+)

If it's correct then I think the Red Sox have definitely made the right decision. It makes sense to get him back into the rotation with Foulke ready to go and the post season looming.

It's about time, and considering that he is facing the Royals its not an especially difficult outing, but I still won't be starting him on my team.

I agree, it'll be a little while longer for Foulke because of the rehab delay, but moving Schilling in after last night's impressive outing is a good idea. I also think it's a smart move by Francona as far as the timing goes, he should be able to gain confidence back as a starter while playing Kansas City.

:-? very interesting. is this really the right move? if he cant get through one inning without giving up 3 or 4 runs what makes you think he can get through 5+. i say just let him rehab a bit more. he's clearly not ready. oh wells maybe im rong :-?
