Torii Hunter (ankle) said earlier this week that he still hopes to return by the end of the season.
''He wants to get going,'' general manager Terry Ryan said. Hunter is scheduled to have an MRI on his injured ankle early next week and could have the cast removed from his ankle soon after that.

I doubt he will have much impact for the rest of the year but this is great news if you own him in a keeper like me.

Exactly what I was thinking, I picked up Hunter on the DL a couple days ago in the idea to keep him for next year. If he does come back he'd be a nice bench option the last week.
