Johnny Damon denied a rumor that he tested positive for steroids.

Do you have evidence that he has tested positive? No, well then why convict him of it with your thread title?
Im not saying he took steroids, but it always seems to be the same excuse for every player speculated of taken it. Its makes everything more confusing and harder to believe.

Which is why you dont believe any of this until its proven true.
If MLB announces he tested positive, then I will agree, the excuses are ludicrous, but until then, making it out like he already has been proven of doping, isnt wise.
Thing is, are we going to get to a point when most of the players "dont know" what goes inside their bodies. They´re practically saying they don´t take care of what´s been putting in inside their bodies.

Difficult to say, but I dont buy the excuse of "I didnt know what I was taking". Palmeiro was proven to be a liar when he tried that excuse.

Probably, to some extent, but the point of your original post was the implication that Damon was somehow guilty of doping(even though you may not have meant for it to come off that way), when we have no evidence of this yet.
"I think it's because of the way I'm built. I've had people thinking that since I was in high school.''
Damon to me seems like a cocky guy, I just don't like him. His comment saying "I know the yanks will come after me," was funny and this comment makes me laugh too.
