Well, the rendering isn't much slower (at least for me), it's just that Firefox doesn't think before rendering, so the contents is jumping all over the screen until the page has fully loaded, whereas IE tries to figure out the structure of the page first, which may take a few milliseconds longer to start with, but then the page still seems usable much earlier to the human eye.

That's great unfortunately I don't know what worked for you. I read the stickied thread as well as both announcements and was unabled to find the SPEED-UP section they were referring to.
I guess I'm blind, I misread your post. I thought you were saying the ffc post wasn't showing up

OK I may have an issue then because it'd definitely noticeable. I will play around with it.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Just downloaded FireFox to day. I'm enjoying it so far. I'm wondering if maybe I'm privy to IE because this Mozilla program is still so new to me. I'm going to continue trying it out to see if I can be swayed. The Speed-Up thing worked pretty well for me. I also like the Extensions, etc. that they allow you to add on to the browser, like the gmail button, and FoxyTunes, etc. Pretty neat.
