His 5th shutout of the season yesterday! He's still got a losing reason after the All-Star break- 3-4, but his ERA during that time is 3.35 and his WHIP of 1.01 and BAA of .217 are better than the first half. Dontrelle's put together 5 quality starts since he hit the wall in July. Owners that kept him are very happy to have their ace back. Is it time to admit that there won't be a late-season slide this year?

Well, I've always thought that people are silly for ranting/insisting about a 2nd half fade based primarily on one season's results and his rookie year at that.

OTOH, it's also silly to think that D-Train could sustain his ridiculous 1st half performance all year long. He's doing great again after those 3 horrendous starts. Just enjoy it while it lasts. Sell him high if you still can. But don't expect every game going forward to be lights out nor rant about how he'll completely fade away either.
