They certainly do. Some stations definitely water down the gas, or at least have, in my experience. That's why I go to one station, and stick with it. I know the quality, and it doesn't change. Using a different station, and then getting much less gas mileage is definitely suspect.

Same here. I use one Chevron station and that's it. The Shell across the street is usually a few pennies cheaper, but I don't get near the mileage out of their gas. Really weird :-S , so I just stick with Chevron.

I've used Shell forever; is there really a difference in gasoline efficiency? Not like it matters much anymore (I won't have a car at college...bike's all you need in SB), but it's still interesting nonetheless.
