How would you feel if you worked your way up to the top waiver spot, then 2 weeks before Sept 1, your commish decides to cut off moves then?

Sept 1 is key b/c I am in a keep-all dynasty league with minors rosters and guys like Volquez could be called up then. It just sucks that you work your way up to the top then see that effort going to waste.

My commish can go to hell, needless to say.

If this rule wasn't established before the start of the season, it's absurd and should be protested. I wouldn't play with this Commish in the future.

Their justification was, it wasn't "forseen" as an issue before the year.

I agree. There pretty much needs to be unanimous league approval in order to make a change like that.

You must never play in a league with this commissioner again, that is asinine.

Then you deal with it in the offseason. What makes it an 'issue' now anyway? Pulling a move like this in August is bush.

If it was never brought up or mentioned until now then the commish is a cheater and you shouldn't play him anymore. If it was maybe mentioned before the season then I wouldve dealt with it then as AK said but if it hadn't been dealt with and just mentioned thats still crap if he does that.

Well I think that people are a little quick to say ditch him.....Sure what he did was absurd, but it's fun to be with your close friends so just tell him we're changing commish next year if you do this again...

I disagree. As soon as someone pulls a move like this they are not fit to be commissioner. Move on. If he's not all about fair play and is willing to do this once then he will do it again. I'd rather play in a fair and competitive league than a league of friends.
