Do I admit to knowing who you're talking about? Is it too late to deny it now?
My fiance loves all things that are the DIY Network (Food Network, TLC, HGTV, etc.)
In exchange, she watches Mets games. It works out.

Oh yeah, h0rt, you know who Carmondy is. Just admit it... As long as you still get to watch your sports (as I do), it works out all right to not throw a fit when you have to occasionally watch that other stuff. IMO anyway... It's all about give and take.
And yes, I agree, it's not worth the argument...as long as I get to watch my shows also.
And regarding the scientific experiment....my g/f thought some parts of The Office were pretty funny. IMO they chose 4 of the worst episodes. The diversity day one was pretty funny, the health care wasn't bad either...but the hot girl one wasn't that funny IMO. The best one from the Spring was, by far, the one where they form a basketball team and play the warehouse guys. That was hilarious.
There's a chance I'll be catching a matinee of this thing this weekend, I'll provide a report if I see it. But I do think it'll be wicked funny, speaking as a guy who loves Chris Guest's stuff, and ranks Anchorman up there with Caddyshack, seriously. I still think the "Even Stephen" segments on the Daily Show were comedy genius. "Yes-No-Yes-No-YEEEEEEEESSSSS" LMAO
