As far as I'm concerned I'm one of the more realistic Yankee fans here with a pretty fair outlook on baseball and I do a good job of making tepid predictions and claims when it comes to the Yankees. However,

They're going to the Playoffs.

3 @ CWS (Without Podsednik, their MVP if you ask me, and nothing to play for)
4 vs TOR
3 vs KC
4 @ SEA
3 @ OAK
3 vs TB (Healing after the west coast swing)
3 vs BOS
3 @ TB
3 @ TOR
4 vs BAL
3 vs TOR
4 @ BAL
3 @ BOS

That's 12 left against KC and TB, 8 vs BAL, 10 vs TOR for those of you scoring at home that's 22 of their final 46 games.

I'm not saying it's 100% but it's lookin' pretty good right now.

So I guess what I'm saying is, the Yanks are 100% going to the playoffs.

I'm saying the D-Rays will beat up on them , The Boss will flip out and call a meeting, they miss the playoffs, Cashman doesn't want to come back, and Torre is fired. Meanwhile the A's will get into the playoffs beat up on the White Sox, and beat the Red Sox due to stellar pitching. Then they lose to the Cards in the W.S.

KC no but TB yes. 6 of the 9 games against TB are in TB. The Rays are a .500 ballclub at home. NYY are below .500 ballclub on the road. Pinella and the Rays would love to stick it to the big bad Yankees and keep them out of the playoffs.

How can a below average hitter and below average fielder be their mvp. I mean the steals are nice and all but the 18 CS offset 36 of the steals.

Here's the other thing 26 of there last 46 games are on the road. Yankees sport a .473 winning% on the road.
