Here is a little dirty trick I used last year. It can mean a couple points in the standings which can mean the difference between first place and second place, so use it when you need to.
Ok, let's take a normal league with a 1250 inning restriction. Most people stop pitching right around that mark but there is a way you can overpitch that limit and have the extra innings count!
The trick is to know what day you will reach the 1250 limit (preferably on the last day of baseball). On that day, you start as many pitchers as you can (up to 7 in a yahoo league). All the innings you pitch that day will count towards your total stats which can easily mean 3 extra wins and 30-40 extra strikeouts.
Depending on the standings, that can make or break your team so if you wait until the last day, you can decide if this strategy can work for you because you will probably take a slight hit in ERA and WHIP.
There ya go. Secrets of the fantasy baseball gods revealed :p
