he's definitely out there, and i'd say the moment you hear benitez's move...BAM! go get 'im.

Of course!!! The Mets are going nowehere this year (and I say that as a DIE HARD Mets fan). At least let Franco get closer to Lee Smith's saves record.

The Yanks farm system is actually in rough shape right now. What few good prospects they have left are hurt right now. They might end up trading Weaver because of the their farm situation. I'm sure Franco will get a few saves when Benitez is traded, but I would have to think a few other guys will get a chance to save some games as well.

The thought of Franco being a closer doesn't really get me too excited. When you're desperate for saves in fantasy baseball, I guess you sometimes have to jump all over these iffy situations.
