In My 2 Seasons of Owning Wolf....

Postby YankFan51 » Sat Jun 14, 2003 9:17 pm

He's yet to do bad in a start that I really needed a good outing out of him. 0.29 WHIP today, a day after Millwood was pounded. I'm really starting to think Wolf is underrated, and may rate right up there with the class of pitchers in baseball.

I also think Wolf is underrated. He has been awesome this year and I expect between 15-20wins and around 200K's from him. On top of all that he's a great second half player.

Wolf doesn't have an overpowering fastball. At first glance, it doesn't look like he has the stuff to even succeed at the major league level. I think that's why he's underrated and will always be so, however the boy sure does have a good slow curve and knows how to pitch. He is like a Moyer or Rueter but with strong K potential.

I had him last year too. His second half was insane. Best by any pitcher if I remember right. I may be wrong. But nobody noticed.. He is just "Money". I have alway thought that he would win 20 this year. He has at .198 BA against. Consider me part of the Wolfpack.
I think he is arguably top 5 in the game right now.
