Whats the word on Kelvim Escobar

Any word on his return? The last i heard was that he threw off a mound for the first time since his surgery on Aug 2. I'm trying to deciede if it's worth holding onto him any longer. I have him on my DL, but i could throw another injured player on, and use the extra roster spot.

Escobar says he feels 100%, something I haven't heard him say all season.
If you've held him this long, you might as well wait to see what happens.
It sounds as though he will come back to pitch this year, and if he pitches pain free and gets that splitter going he could be huge down the stretch.
I would hold him but not my breath.

He came back great last year, and really helped me. I'd save him.

i think they would start him off by using him in the bullpen. ervin santana has really settled down and i don't see anyone who could be taken out of the rotation for escobar.
