I think he is one of the best shortstops. This is my opinion. Nomar is one of the best shortstops in Major League Baseball. He can play defense, hit for a good average and hit some homeruns, overall he is GREAT!!!
....he is now the 3rd best shortstop on the dodgers

welcome to the board, Ms. Hamm. :-b

by the way, any support you'd like to give to your unsupported claims, that would be nice, or else nobody will care to respond to you. People don't get let off easy on this site. Consider this a warmup: what exactly is it that makes nomar the best all-around player out there right now?

im so curious to hear this, that ill even give an incentive.

you(cubyfan) come up with some sort of case for Nomar "being the best overall player out there", and ill make a list of players that are better overall players than Nomar.

the number of players in that list will be equal to the number of correctly spelled words youve typed on this page up to this point, which if ive counted right is 99. i dont count garbage like 'u' and 'ur'

he can hit for an average, play good defense, and even hit 15 homeruns in a season. I have no doubt that he will be healthy next season.
