Real shocking news! :*) Glad I traded him for Overbay and a pitching upgrade more than two months ago. However, drafting him and Pierre within my top five picks has left me near the bottom of my league. :~(

I hate fanatasy baseball!!! (sometimes)

Try having Thome and Beltran as keepers going into 05. Two stiffs that turned my championship team into 4th place team.

He's not trading for him. He's been trying to trade Nick Johnson to the guy, as he sees 1B as a need for the team that has Thome. He trying to acquire some other player(s).

so glad this news came out i dumped him from the dl when espn broke it

id rather have that official word come out then that endless waiting game would rather use the DL spot for someone else

Ah, ok, it really sounded like he was trying to trade for Thomo and hope he returned and played good in the stretch run. Thanks for informing me ;-D
