Playoffs...

I'm a diehard fan but I had to vote no. It's not from my lack of confidence in the team but the uphill battle they'll be facing. Right now the SPs are such a wreck that I only have confidence in RJ, Mussina and Chacon as the front 3. Small is a pleasant surprise but can he do a "Brian Doyle" act for the Yanks over the last 4 months of the year? If the Yanks do manage to overcome this situation, then all I can say is that Aura and Mystique have come home for dinner. I luv these 2 fortuitous Yankee Stadium spirits.

I also voted no, for many of the same reasons. The team is fighting uphill, and the pitching staff is crap. The three teams they are trying to knock out are all superior to them.

My confidence in RJ is by a very small margin.

However, strange things do happen at Yankee Stadium around October. If the Yanks are able to sneak into the playoffs, then I believe anything could happen this year during the playoffs. Including a Yankee WS win as the wildcard team.

I'm convinced Yankee stadium is haunted by ghosts who just happen to be Yankee Fans. Either that or God is a diehard Yankee fan too.

I've seen too many strange things occur at the stadium to believe otherwise.
