Comes on up on the losing end tonight, giving up 2 ER, but he's reinforcing his dominance after those dizzy spells early on ;-D

He had some nice time off with his DL stint earlier in the year. I'm not worried about him at all. He was down 3-0 going into the 9th (and 8th too, if I'm not mistaken), and he trotted out anyway. As Felix showed last night as well, going 8 or 9 into a game doesn't necessarily mean a high pitch count. Sheets only allowed like 5 baserunners the entire game I believe, so it's quite possible he didn't go too far over 100 today.

He threw 116 and 126 in the last two games so I would agree with you for those but today he threw only 98 pitches. Plus, he had a good amount of time off this year for the dizzy spells so I would say the load really isn't too high at this point in the season.

This guy is going to be extremely vital to my team in the play-offs...hopefully that ear infection gave him lots of rest.

I'm lovin' it, my league counts CG's as an extra roto stat so he's provided a very nice late season boost in a close category ;-)
