He hurt his neck, went out for about a week.

Also, Catalanotto only plays agaisnt right handed pitching, they put Reed Johnson in agaisnt the lefties.

He hit a HR today too, doesn't change the fact he's in a platoon.

Further proof of where he stands is the fact he was taken out of the game today for defensive purposes, despite hitting a 2-run HR in a game the Jays have only scored 2 runs.
