As a Yankee fan and an RJ owner, this seems like good news in a way. Hope some extra rest gets him back at 100 percent, where he hardly seems to have been all year.

Ditto on that. Hope he gets all the rest he needs and come back stronger and be more reliable, even if that means needing to go on the DL.

That's what I'm bankin on. I need him to step up for my run at 1st place.
The Yankees have scratched Randy Johnson from his scheduled
start on Thursday against the Rangers due to his sore back.
The club will either move Scott Proctor from the bullpen to
make the start or recall a minor-leaguer. "The last two days
he's felt a lot better," manager Joe Torre said. "We like to
believe that this is going to help a great deal. Is it going
to solve the problem? I don't think we know that."
The team feels as if he will miss only one start. Keep him
reserved in all Fantasy leagues until he can officially
return and prove his health.
