Just heard on WEEI that Kenny Rogers suspesion was just cut to 12 games and he could start tomorrow (Wed).
Nice if he starts at Fenway, should be interesting.

He still served a stiffer suspension that that goon Bertuzzi, relative to what they did..

they probably had Gary Bettman as the arbitrator..

I'm no Gambler fan but he served a longer suspension than the steroid guys who cheated the game.

I could have sworn that I heard somewhere that the commisioner's decision was final and could not be overturned by any outside rulings. Was that basketball and not baseball???

I think I read where the union had a right to appeal this to arbitration because the commissioner himself set the penalty and not the person in MLB who normally assigns them (not sure who that is now). If this is correct, it mhas to be something that is stated in the collective bargaining agreement.
