i quite like mccowan's show...and listen to it whenever i have the chance to...which is usually once or twice a week. not much of a radio guy myself and i don't own a car.
The only bad thing about the Fan is that they don't have enough chat and also I like the 20 minute updates but there is way too much commercials you pretty much get like 10 minutes of actual talk when it is on other then that it is just crap.
I used to listen to it during my drives to and from work... (brampton to oakville)... but now i've moved to montreal and just walk to work so I'm screwed out of my sports talk! I dont even get Jays games on the radio for the most part even though its "Jays territory!" argh!

While in Montreal you can tune into the Team 990. Pretty much the same thing with obvioussly more about Montreal teams. Still great to listen to. They have McCowan as well some evenings, and Dan Patrick in the afternoons.

Thanks! Yeah, I know about the Team 990. I used to listen to it ALL evening after work since my girlfriend was in toronto and I didnt know anyone here in monteal and didnt want to get cable... but now shes here (we got married) so apparently i cant just listen to sports chat all evening... but still they dont carry Jays games. Last year they had something like 8 games... and while I have cable now (mainly to watch the Jays this spring) I still hope they carry more games on the radio.
I love listening to the fan but when I need a different perspective I will put on WGR (550) out of Buffalo. If you have any intrest at all in footbal you will get your fix here. They also have Colin Cowherd and Jim Rome on during the day.
I like listening to Gord in the morning and wondering how a weirdo like him was ever GM for the Leafs!
i love listening to the fan 590.. im a true toronto fan.. listen to it after raptor games.. leaf games.. really love listenin to it after jays games though.. love the callers
