rolen update?

can any cards fan give me an idea of how much longer we can expect rolen to be out for? i desperately need help from my 3b hole.

Cardinals.MLB.com's Stephen A. Norris reports St. Louis Cardinals 3B Scott Rolen (shoulder) is still a week away from doing any activity. The team doesn't want to rush him into activity in order to avoid re-irritating the pain.

Sounds like he'll be out for a while yet.

Who do you have at 3B? Maybe you can grab someone like Tracy to help out there, if he's still available (and eligible at 3B). He looks good against RHPs.

I wouldn't be counting on Rolen (or Sanders or Walker for that matter) for any sort of fantasy contribution down the stretch. Even if they do come back relatively soon they will surely be rusty and getting just enough PT to get back into the swing of things.
