RJ to get his back checked out

RJ might be going to the DL with Wright and Pavano. All they've said so far is he's going to have team doctors look at his back, but it doens't look good.

Randy Johnson (P) NYY will miss his next turn in the rotation because of a bad back, according to the AP. "It's best to be safe," said manager Joe Torre. "If it was October, it would be a different decision." An MRI on Monday showed inflammation of Johnson's lumbar spine. Scott Proctor is a possibility to start in Johnson's place.
