Dude he can just be benched or choose not to play. The guy has so many contract issues, hell likely sit out a whole season if he gets an extra few million in the end.
Can you share what you are smoking?
What team is going to bench one of its best hitters for any extended period?
And for all the nonsense Sheffield talks, he's never played fewer than 130 games in the last 13 years.
Worry about things that matter, not the hallucinations induced by whatever drugs you are taking.
'94? '95? Not that I don't agree with your statement, but you just might want to do some fact-checking next time.

I wouldn't rank Sheffield near the 1st round for next year, but he's obviously a very valuable player.

Good list. I would probably bump Teix above D. Lee and Cabrera above Manny, but overall I like it.

Do you guys all actually think Beltran first round? I thought everyone hated him way too much for that. So does that mean in keeper leagues he still has good trade value during the offseason?
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

At this point, yes, I think he is. Simply because there are only a handful of players in the Majors that have a legitimate chance of being a 30/30 player...and he's one of them. Potential bumps him up a round or so. Plus, I think MANY people are actually expecting him to finish the year very strongly....and so far he's not disappointing. He's been playing a lot better lately, so perhaps his injury is finally behind him.
