Is M-cab a first rounder next year?

Like I said I won't be taking him first round, unless he gets 3B eligibility. I think he's great but I'm not going to count on him hitting .350 next year.

HAHA, please show me your cheat sheets. Tell me 12 guys you think that will hit better than 110-40-110-.315

The 3b eligibility is just the icing on the cake, there is enough talent at the hot corner that its not a huge boost but just helps his trade value and overall value. Lets say we were looking at talent and not fantasy, Cabrera plays in a pitchers park and puts up better numbers than tex in a hitters park or imo will put up better numbers. How do you not take this guy. If florida could ever win the division this guy would be MVP, hes up there in Pujols range. The fish need to get on track.

Well I drafted 6 teams this year, and they are all in first place.

Here's a hint: I never took Beltran.

But this thread is about taking Cabrera in the 1st round, not Beltran.

Just b/c you are in first place doesn't mean you are wrong. For whatever dumb reason, you think Miggy is not up there with Manny, Pujols, Etc.

A lot of people passed on Beltran. That doesn't mean you will be right about Cabrera.

Miggy is certainly not up there with Pujols. Pujols has done better than MCab for what, 5 years now?

Haha what a little arogant bastard. Do you think i care how your teams are doing. This is about Cabrera, all i can say is if youve got the 12th pick in the draft and you take Berkman over Cabrera (lucky if hes there) then you wont be seeing the playoffs my friend.

Here's a hint: Nobody cares.

and yes, I'll say once again, Miguel Cabrera will obviously be a 1st round pick next year.

Depending on my strategy based on the depth of speedsters at value positions, I would have no problem taking Miggy behind ARod, Pujols, Vlad, Tejada, Soriano. He beats out Manny, Abreu, Tex, Ortiz, Crawford, any pitcher, beltran (I laughed at that one) IMO. If I think I could get Lugo or Figgins or someone else like that at a MI position deep enough (Where I think they're close to a steal) I'd take Miggy over Soriano as well. I think we could be looking at .320, 40HR, 110 R, 130 RBI projections from him next year if the Marlins have a big enough offense.
