If you look at the incremental increases he has had from year to year so far, I think you would have to give him serious consideration for drafting him late in the first round next year. Most leagues had the Unit and Helton going in the first round and they certainly won't next year. Perhaps Santana as well. Who else would be better to be selected in their place besides M-Cab???
Next year, late first round choice. Somewhere between # 9-12.

I expect about .315 40 100 100 which would make him a later first rounder

Dude please put the beginner logo next to your name and give me an application to join your league. Dont worry just jokin with ya. But seriously late second on M Cab now no way. Hes young and will get better every year, you gotta give this guy mid-late first round consideration. He will be off the board before the 12th pick as likely no pitchers will go first round. Hes likely the 6th or 7th best hitter in the league.

MCab was a late 2nd rounder/early 3rd rounder THIS year and look what he's doing. If that team was scoring runs to its potential we would be talking about him as a triple crown threat as well. Looks like those Manny Ramirez comparisons weren't too far off. If I pick 9th in a 12 team league next year he isn't going to fall to me at 16, I'm going to have to make the call right there at 9 and I may just call his name.

Im sorry but 100-100? Please, next year no chance. Delgado fitting it and hitting him in like crazy(depends on the lineup), Pierre maybe finally getting OB like he should, castillo same thing. Lowell returning to form. If this happens expect .315 40 120 120. MVP.

Sorry that im pimpin m-cab so much but i have him in 4 of my 8 leagues, the guy is just damn good, and if he has 3b eligiblity next year thats just crazy. You can have a stud 3b in a-rod territory and load up on your OF even more.

It's tough to agree with a guy who is a Met fan supporting Carlos Beltran because you need your head examined for that, but you're dead on with this one. M-Cab is definite MVP material next season and if the Marlins make the playoffs this year he deserves some votes. I wouldn't expect Pierre to be with the Marlins next year however. Maybe not Lowell either.

I beleive that the numbers speak for themselves. This guy has definetley earned late first round consideration.

I won't be taking him in the first round, that's for sure. And it's not because I don't think he's good enough. I just think there will be other guys you can wait on who will have similar statistics. Lance Berkman comes to mind.
