Does anybody know anything about TOmmy Phelps? I picked him up as an injury replacement this week hoping to get a win over the Rangers. His stats look pretty decent in only 4 starts.

Does anybody have any Tommy Phelps info? Any Marlins fans out there?

Hey, you think I'm joking here, I need info on this guy. I'm in a 16 team league where Nate Cornejo has been signed and released about 10 times. So let's see some Tommy Phelps info. Are you guys telling me there's not one Marlins fane out there? OK, if it'll make it easier to come out, I'm a Rangers fan.

i know that phelps was one of florida's top prospects coming into this year. he has excellent potential but he was a little rushed to the majors due to the injuries on florida's staff. he should provide some quality starts, but i would also expect some shaky ones as well. he will likely go back to aaa or the bullpen when beckett returns from the dl.

Thanks, I have Beckett so I need weekly replacements it seems. My problem was that I couldn't find his name listed in the Baseball America Top 30 Marlins prospects. So I thought he was a reliever that I never heard of that they put into spot starting.

His stats look good though and I think he should kick the Rangers aholes, but I might release him after that, depending on how well he does against them.
