Morris was tipping pitches

The Cardinals say Matt Morris was tipping his pitches in the first two innings of Wednesday's game when four of the first batters he faced got hits and the last two outs of the first inning came on fly balls that died in the wind just shy of the wall.
After Damion Easley started the second inning with a homer, pitching coach Dave Duncan went to the mound and told Morris the Marlins knew what was coming because of the way he adjusted his glove between pitches. He then retired 13 of the last 16 hitters he faced.

Might explain the last couple of starts.
