We all know they are losing. Doesn't always equate to a manager getting fired. I didn't think they would fire Mazilli at this point.

Let's see, they get off to a great start, despite having no pitching staff, they get involved in publicized trade rumours for a stud pitcher that falls through at the last minute over money, one of their superstars gets busted for steroids and perjuring himself before Congress.. and this is the manager's fault?!?..

As a lot of people have said in the Dusty Baker thread, it really doesn't matter if it is his fault or not. The GM can't fire the entire team and the fans are demanding that something be done or else they will stop coming out to the games.

The O's are 10 1/5 games out of first. They have to still pretend like they are trying to get to the playoffs.
