BJ (Charleston, SC): Scoop, my problem with your Baker article is that you're just throwing out a possibility...not an opinion, not a fact, just something that could happen. I could write an article saying how I think aliens from the planet Zordorf are going to come take over Earth. I may not really think this, or have facts proving it...but it COULD be a possibility. Come with some real substance when bringing accusations like this next time...thank you.

there wasn't a whole lot to it. the first 5 or 6 were dusty related and then he moved on.

A combination of all his answers would go something like this:

"It's OK that Jim Callis calls my article total garbage, I just see things differently. This is just how I see it as a black man and I will do so until someone proves me wrong. The Cubs have had lots of injuries. The article wasn't about Dusty or racism, it was about how there are not proprtionally enough black sportswriters in Chicago."

Never once did he address the total absence of fact/figures and actual baseball-related arguments from his article.

If he really wanted to vent that there are not enough black sportswriters, shouldn't he talk to kids in school? Maybe make appearances in high schools and colleges? Guess that would make too much sense, huh?
