It wasn't televised in Detroit either...but I was there. Gotta say he wasn't lights out impressive but after having some control issues in the first he was very efficient getting a lot of ground balls. A lot of those ground balls weren't even well hit. It seemed like the Tiger hitters were very patient with him early on and then later couldn't adjust from his 84 mph changeup to his 97 mph heat. The way he throws is really fun to watch too, he leans back a little and then explodes forward toward the plate.

Big Pimpin wrote:Apparently they tried to get it on TV in Seattle but they ran into some problems. They weren't originally going to air it because it's a 10:00 a.m. game there. However, once they found out Felix was pitching they tried to shuffle programming and get sponsorship for it, but it was too late to put it all together. I was pissed too, because I would have been watching.
Being from Boston, it is completely beyond me why a game wouldn't be televised. Heck, they even showed all the sox games in the early '90s when they were terrible. Do the games ussually run on a network station or a cable channel in Seattle?
IMO, it is a joke to not have a major sports franchise not on television.
