Derek Lowe is being accused by his wife of having an affair with a television reporter who covers the Dodgers.

The FSN reporter has not been on the air since Lowe's wife, Trinka called the station and told them there was a conflict of interest by her covering the Dodgers while having a relationship with Lowe. She apparently hired an investigator and is trying to ''save her marriage,'' even though Lowe has reportedly asked for a divorce and had a reputation when he was in Boston for spending a lot of night's on the town.

As for fantasy baseball, this may help explain why Lowe hasn't been pitching particularly well this year, although the ongoing blister problems he's having are of concern as well.

I just got finished reading that in the LA Times ..

You have to read between the lines before you see that both parties are actually separated, and the wife is actually stirring up this contorversy. she is trying to save her "Marriage" even thogh they are separated. In other words, she is losing her gravy train and is not happy about it. Figures that the LA Times would be so happy to help her out in her attempt to trash Lowe.
