I dumped him a few months ago cause I have F. Lopez...stupid nomar killed my season..he'll probably stink and get injured...he was only 3-13 in his rehad stint which is about half as many hits as he had when he was playing this year..hmmm
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

I have Lopez too, but he's been slowing down lately. After hitting .304 in May and .333 in June, he hit .263 in July. He might be regressing to his normal level from here on out. Nomar could outplay him.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

The Chicago Tribune notes that Nomar Garciaparra (groin)
will likely start at SS for the Cubs on Friday and Sunday,
with Neifi Perez starting there on Saturday. Whether he can
come back as the same hitter he was in spring is another
question. "You won't know until he gets here," manager Dusty
Baker said. "And it might take a while, or he might come in
like he hasn't lost anything."
Garciaparra will likely bat fifth in the order against
lefties and sixth against righties. Start him at your own
risk until he proves he is healthy.
