You mean, Abreu is the only MLB player that ages every year? That's odd. I could have sworn everyone above and below him on the list would be a year older as well.
I was waiting for captain obvious. Its all relative. Abrea cant be stealing bases like this every year. You have to expect a 5-10% decline in production. He wouldn't be my 1st round choice, but second round without a doubt. His max would be 30 steals, 25 Hr's and 95 RBIs next year. He also doesn't have Thome bringing him in.
It also varies if your playing PTS or roto. He is one of the elite in roto because he hits a lot of categories. On the otherhand, in pts based leagues OF is a really deep position and doesn't have much value in the first round. Most other position studs have a higher VBD in the first.

Beltran will not make the top 8 rounds if he continues at his current pace. Top round is a fantasy.
Santana will fall to the late 2nd or 3rd round unless he picks it up.
RJ will fall to top 6-8 with the way he has been goiing.
Bonds would be an enormous gamble round 3 next season as you can' t believe a thing out of his mouth.
Pods is too high at 3.2 imo.
Helton will be a round 7-9 player.
Willis at 3.12 is way too high.
Mora over Jeter is a strecth
Wood in the top 8 rounds is crrazy imo.

Any projections for next year that do not include Brian Roberts in the top 10 are completely unrealistic.

Wow, i wish I was in leagues with you. A guy like Beltran hasmad, mad potential for next year. I think people are forgetting what he did last year.

I think Zito's a bit too high on that one.
..although he's doing pretty damn good lately.

Yeah.. this "fantasy guru" thing is just a user name, folks.
