Looking for a "super" sleeper & was wondering about Trachsel.

Is he getting close? I know he's rehabbing in the minors but any idea when he'll be back & will he be in the rotation instead of Ishii?

i think they said one or 2 more rounds of the rotation, so figure another 2 weeks

Omar said on the radio yesterday that he will be back around the midpoint of August and will be ready to throw 90-100 pitches a game when he gets back.

I think Randolph will do handsprings, dance a jig, clap his hands (you get the picture?) when he can take Ishii out of the rotation.

Rotoworld is reporting that his next rehab start is Sat. If all goes well, they speculate he mat be in the Mets rotation next week.

I don't know much about the guy but last seasons numbers looked pretty solid.

I figure stash him on the DL for a week or two till he's ready.
