in my league, there are unlimited transactions. one guy has 58 transactions already. the 2nd most number of transactions so far is 26.
he keeps on adding/dropping z.duke, lackey, and some other SPs like capuano. i'm not saying he shouldnt be allowed to do it, but i kinda want to ruin his flow by stealing duke from him when he's on this owner's "waiver wire bench".
do you guys allow unlimited transactions in your leagues? does it usually make your league more fun? or maybe there should be limited pickups off the FA and unlimited trades...?
depending on the amount of teams duke and lackey should have permanent spots on your team. cap should be on your team no matter what. how in the world are these guys available for your boy to pick and choose over?
I'm all for unlimited transactions as long as you keep innings pitched to a finite amount. That way you don't get the WW grubbing for Ks and a Wins on a daily basis.

58 transactions is a lot? Wow. One team in our league has 114. 2nd most being 92 and average being about 40.
But yes, I'm all for a cap on transactions. I think it puts more emphasis on your draft that way. I'm winning the league and have the fewest transactions b/c I drafted well/lucky.
My league has a pretty unique rule to limit this. Any player you drop to FA, you cannot pick back up for the rest of the season. Makes things much more interesting, IMO.
We used to have unlimited transactions, then we moved to still unlimited, but you throw a buck into the pot for each one per week, with the first one free, for the last couple of years we have just gone to a two per week ww move. Trades are unlimited and minor league moves are unlimited.
