...and another blast saturday. Get on board before somebody else grabs him. Captain America is still Byrnin' down the house!
He had like a 25+ game hitting streak, maybe 2 0-fer's then has I think a 9 game streak going now? He starts everyday, he's not a fluke, and he will out produce Winn.

Yeah, yesterday clinched it. Winn was officially given his walking papers and Byrnes joined my squad (Wilkerson was also replaced with Jay Gibbons, who has launched 3 in the last 2 games, and is now batting .291)
Thanks for the advice, everyone. Go, Cap!!

Hope you had him in for today 'cuz he now has a 3 game HR streak.
...but he'll cool off anyday now!

Yup, he was in there. And he was my best offensive player today. Not a very good week at the plate for my team!!

Yeah, my RBI's are lacking lately as well. I had closed the gap to 20, but it's back up to 40.
You'll enjoy Byrnes, especially if you see him play. The batting order leap alone is worth it. He looks to be a much better player than Winn this year.
For now, he looks to have passed Everett/Huff on my roster. I have to start taking my own advice, cuz I didn't have him in there today against Javier.

What kind of numbers do you expect Byrnes will put up for the rest of the season? I was considering trading him and Guardado for Magglio Ordonez, but not sure if that's worth it or not. Although, I think Magglio is heating up. I'm just not sure that Byrnes is going to keep it up.
Think Jay Gibbons is better than him?
