Howard Kendrick a keeper this year?

I am in an AL only keeper league. Benn carrying Howie kendrick all year in hopes of carrying him on my keeper squad and hoping his fast ascent in ANA will lead to a 2006 callup to stud-dom at 2b...somewhere.

I am in a fierce pennant race and need to pickup some more speed to have a shot at winning. Macier Izturis is available on the FA wire. If I pick him up will have to drop Kendrick and he will surely be scooped up by a cellar dweller.

Will Macier continue to get high impact PT for a sometimes innefective (and banged up) Cabrera and Macpherson or is he going to be relegated to the bench the rest of the way?

thats really tough.. i might go with Macier because Soscia will probly keep running him. and theres usually no speed on the FA in AL leagues... the really tough thing is that alot of his Sb's could come as a pinch runner.. im not sure how your league is set-up, but you might wind up having him benched for a few steals.. anyway, it bites to lose Kendrick, but if he's keeping you from winning, you gotta cut him lose
