We goofed! Due to human error (a fancy way of saying: Arlo dropped the ball), Madison's excellent article on All-Star voting got sidetracked on its way to the front page. !+)

Nonetheless, Madison's points remain valid, and well worth noting even though the next All-Star contest is nearly a year away. Without even further delay...
