No trades have been made in my league all year and all of my offers have been rejected so far. 8 team, 5x5, h2h league. I'm in first and a lock for the playoff unless it all falls apart.

rp- K-Rod, Street, Dempster

When Roy comes back, I'm not going to hesitate to use him, which means I may have to drop someone and be fully healthy for the first time all season. I'm trying to shop a catcher in a 2 for 1, but I don't think a trade will happen.

So if I have to, who should I drop? I think Dempster is the least valuable, but maybe Bay? I'd rather have extra pitchers- starters, especially, but also the third closer- than extra bats on the bench not contributing and, for their position, I think Javy and Utley are more valuable than Bay. At this point, I don't want to throw out anyone that will hurt me in the playoffs.

Before dropping anyone post what you are looking for in the league (extra catcher or top pitching to deal). See if you can get someone to make you an offer. It might not hurt to overpay for a star player on a very weak team for an upgrade. Is there any team in the league looking for a top catcher? I agree that extra pitchers generally are better, although your starting staff is loaded.

I guess it is an inactive league so if you must drop someone I vote for Javy Lopez. I like Bay and Utley more production wise.
