We can only hope beyond all hopes that the Reds get sold soon and the new owner wipes the entire management staff off the books and starts fresh. That's the only way we'll ever become a respectable team again.

As Reds fan, I don't mind the inactivity at all. It seems a lot of these unnamed GMs are just annoyed they couldn't get a Dunn or Kearns for a 4th starter and a maybe prospect. We have the best offense in the NL and to break it apart just for the sake of making a deal is beyond stupid.

I would've preferred they got rid of Casey and Milton but it's not like teams are lining up to take an $8 million per year weak hitting first baseman and 7ERA homerun magnets.

i had no idea that the reds have scored the most runs in the NL. i originally set out to refute this point, but upon checking...my dear lord. you're right! the most runs in the NL. how 'bout that...makes you wonder why we WOULDN'T try to get some pitching, actually.

frankly, i would move move casey for next to nothing, just so we could start all four of the big boys every day. i would think milton would do well in a park like petco...why wouldn't we be able to do another deal with them? anyway, it's a lot to ponder.
