I was looking at the box score and saw 12 left on base for Trot, it's not to often you see a guy in double digits in that category.

It is an extra inning game though that is going pretty long, sometimes that happens

26 men left on base for the team. That is why it is in extra innings.

Actually Trot had 12 LOB before he got into extra innings, the reason he has so many is because Larussa has walked Manny and Millar 4 times each tonight.

We can celebrate. Trot got an RBI and the Bo Soxs are battling back, but fall just short 8 to 7. Yanks regain the lead in the division.

that had to be one of the better games in baseball this season. if I were the yankees, I would be very worried about a Sox team with that much tenacity and with Pedro making his return

The only reason I'm celebrating is because the extended game gave me great stats for Renteria (5-6, 2 R, 2 SB's)
To hell with the Yankees.

That's why the Yanks are adding Urbina to their bullpen sometime soon.

I really doubt it. the Yankees don't like Urbina, and he doesn't like them. they are just going to bid up the price for the Sox to get him. in any case, it would be foolish of the Yanks to lose prospects to rent a middle reliever
