So sitck around, there will still be plenty of action.
agreed ..
I brought this up a week ago ..
This trading deadline is more media driven than anything.
More than half of the big league players get slipped through waivers and trades will start up again in about a week

Nevin has not shown much since coming back from the DL. He is being dropped in a lot of leagues now that he is unlikely to get C eligibility. Been a pretty sizeable bust this year even though he has a nice rbi total considering the time he has played. Right now he is sort of on the D. Young fringe of fantasy-worthiness in mixed leagues imo.

Yea, but still, I would say he has the most fantasy value out of all the deadline deals.

I would too. But Farnsworth losing a closing gig has people shedding tears up and down the land. Lawton is a decent fantasy option in deeper leagues too (well, he is now anyway).

They should move the deadline back 4-5 weeks since most teams don't know if they're in or out of the playoffs.

Just out of curiousity, have any big deals gone through waivers in the last 5 years or so?
