I'll be suprised if Adam Dunn is still a Red by the end of the day. Other than that, still nothing :-?

I think Tampa would be crazy to let him go now, with Delmon and Upton on their way to the majors combined with Huff and Crawford they could be a real force in 07 onwards.

Still, the Devil Rays and 'common sense' just don't seem to go together. I'm confident we'll see a big deal today for someone. ANYONE!!!!

by all accounts, here, adam dunn is not going to be traded for anything less than a dominant pitcher. the reds were approached by the a's, and rather than saying, "go away," (which might have been more polite, frankly), they asked for rich harden straight up.

that tells me that they have very little interest in dealing him.

I thought the Reds went after Haren. July 27. San Francisco Chronicle: "Although Oakland has been mentioned as a potential destination for Dunn, the Reds are seeking a package that includes at least a No. 3 major-league starter for the slugger -- and the A's are not going to part with Dan Haren. According to a person familiar with Cincinnati's thinking, the Reds would be unlikely to part with Dunn or even outfielder Austin Kearns for Joe Blanton, which means the Reds wouldn't do it for Juan Cruz or Joe Kennedy in a package, either."
