Ouch....The Mariners got the best of that deal so long as Foppert's arm holds up. :-?

This is a laughable deal for the Giants. Do they honestly believe they are in contention? I don't care how awful San Diego is, the Giants suck much worse.

Wow....JUST...Wow...can't stop laughing. I thought the Hawkins trade was bad but this one is terrible!

wow , only thing i can think of is Gints want to win NOW. now is obviouslt not this year, but next, maybe they feel Winn will help next year, w bonds back maybe

their only shot to win it is NEXT year w a healthy Bonds && Schmidt, after that they are going to be terrible for a long time, maybe they think Fopperts never gonna pan out

They must've cloned two more Barrys and juiced them all up (original Barry and two clones) with undetectable roids and are going to break them loose and win out.
